PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive small camera module having high efficiency of a magnetic circuit, and a portable terminal provided with the camera module. SOLUTION: The camera module comprises an imaging lens group for guiding a subject light and a lens drive part for moving the imaging lens group. The lens drive part includes a coil formed in a square shape around the optical axis of the lens group and flat plate magnet yokes disposed on two opposed sides of the coil.
