PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation material fixing jig for an abrasion tester, capable of bringing a side surface of a column-shaped evaluation material into line contact with another evaluation material, using a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The evaluation material fixing jig is used in the abrasion tester for carrying out the evaluation test of a first evaluation material and a second evaluation material regarding the friction and wear characteristics. The evaluation material fixing jig which fixes the second evaluation material to the abrasion tester and applying a load to the second evaluation material so as to contact with the first evaluation material has flexibility in a prescribed direction.
