PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine an optimal solution of arrangement or a cross section of a structural member forming a frame body of a structure in short time by surely evolving chromosome information.SOLUTION: Provided is the method for designing a frame body 2 of a structure B containing at least one structural member 6, using a computer 1. The design method comprises a cross step S73 for, about a pair of pieces of chromosome information 21, 21 selected from a mass 20, replacing a gene which defines arrangement or a cross section of the respective structural member 6, for creating novel chromosome information 21. The cross step S73 comprises: a first classification step S731 for, about the pair of pieces of chromosome information 21, 21, classifying them into plural groups 41 containing genes which are replacement objects; a first evaluation step S732 for, about the pair of pieces of chromosome information 21, 21, evaluating superiority of the respective groups 41; and a creation step S734 for, combining superior groups 41 contained in the respective pieces of chromosome information 21, 21 for creating novel chromosome information 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
