PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a decorated element for a timepiece or piece of jewelry, capable of providing substantially precise decoration of complex shape.SOLUTION: The method includes the steps of: taking a base substrate off; micromachining on the base substrate a mould or decorative partitions 7 in a programmed pattern; and filling the mould or the decorative partitions 7 with at least one filler material 5 to obtain the decorated element.
