PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating state detection device for valves which enables an operating state detection sensor to be easily mounted to a detecting portion.SOLUTION: An operating state detection device 2 includes: an operating state detection sensor 3 made contact with an inlet 1 of a steam trap of being a detecting portion; a holding member 4 which is of approximately a channel shape in cross section having an upper wall and both sidewalls, to the upper wall of which the operating state detection sensor 3 is connected, and which is provided with a pair of insertion holes and a notch formed in the upper wall through one sidewall and communicated with one insertion hole to insert one leg part 6a of a U bolt 6; the U bolt 6, both leg parts 6a of which are inserted into a pair of the insertion holes of the holding member 4; and a pair of nuts 7 attached to both legs of the U bolt 6. |
