PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device which reduces the stand-by time of a user in front of a device in comparison to the case where processing is performed in the reception order, when receiving user requests from a plurality of users.SOLUTION: A detection unit 1 detects distances to users 5 and motions of the users 5 from radio field intensities in communication between communication terminals 6 carried by the users 5 and a communication unit 2. A control unit 3 performs control so as to cause a control object unit 4 to perform processing corresponding to a use request from a user 5 having the highest priority by determining priorities from a plurality of elements including an approaching motion of the user 5 detected by the detection unit 1. The information processing device estimates that the user 5 may use the device before a user 5 who is stopping or moving away when the user 5 is approaching, increases the priority, and performs processing before the user 5 arrives at the device. The information processing device reduces the stand-by time of the user 5 in front of the device in comparison to the case where processing is performed in the reception order by starting processing in accordance with a prediction of the arrival order of the users 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
