PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient method for manufacturing, on an occasion where various metal ions provided as raw ingredients are converted into metal oxides based on the hydrothermal method, a homogeneous metal oxide structure of the nanometer-sized level and a metal oxide nanostructure obtained by the same manufacturing method.SOLUTION: The provided method for manufacturing a metal oxide nanostructure comprises: (I) a step of preparing an aqueous solution (A) including a binary copolymer; (II) a step of preparing an aqueous solution (B) including a water-soluble metal ion compound; (III) a step of preparing, by mixing the respective aqueous solutions (A) and (B) obtained at steps (I) and (II), an aqueous polymer-metal ion composite micelle solution consisting of the binary copolymer and metal ion compound; and (IV) a step of hydrothermally reacting the aqueous composite micelle solution prepared at the step(III) at or above the steam formation temperature. |
