FIELD: manufacturing technology.SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for locking holes, subject to action of internal pressure, preferably holes in engine valve units, or containers. Shutoff element comprises main housing (1), having shape of sleeve, which outer circumference in installed position adjoins inner surface (2) of hole (3). Main housing and expanding housing (4) are connected by curved transition area (8). Shutoff element is inserted into hole (3) and then is fitted by applying pressure to expanding housing (4). Since shutoff element is pressed into hole (3), expanding housing (4) is slid into main housing (1) due to deformation of main housing (1) in radial direction to inner surface (2) of hole (3).EFFECT: shutoff element is easy to manufacture and is capable of withstanding relatively high internal pressures.17 cl, 4 dwg |
