<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device by which an image is two-dimensionally displayed, wherein the operation of a device which two-dimensionally scans a luminous flux is easily stabilized. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device obtains the actual oscillation frequency of a first reflection mirror 140 in a first scanner 120, obtains a target oscillation frequency of a second reflection mirror 180 in a second scanner 122 on the basis of the actual oscillation frequency, generates a saw tooth wave signal on which the obtained target oscillation frequency is reflected, performs a filtering process on the generated saw tooth wave signal so that the natural resonance frequency band which the second reflection mirror has is trapped, and obtains the driving signal for driving the second scanner on the basis of the saw tooth wave signal after filtered.
