PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tensioner for the spindle-driving tapes for a spinning frame, designed to enable correspond to Z-twist and S-twist without providing two tension pulleys for each of the spindle-driving tapes. SOLUTION: The tensioner 17 includes a tension arm 20 swingably supported on a supporting shaft 16, wherein the tension arm 20 comprises a basal end part 21 swingably supported on the supporting shaft 16 and a lever part 22 extended from the basal end part 21, and two tension pulley-supporting parts 23a and 23b set symmetrically relative to a plane orthogonal to the supporting shaft 16 are equipped on the lever part 22. In this tensioner 17, a tension pulley 18 is mounted on one of both the tension pulley-supporting parts 23a and 23b in rotatable and detachable ways at a specified angle with a plane via a supporting shaft 24. The mounting position for the tension pulley 18 onto both of the tension pulley-supporting parts 23a and 23b is changed for S-twist and Z-twist. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
