<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve timepieces in that they only report predicted weather without any means further to utilize weather information; although timepieces have heretofore been proposed having the functions of predicting weather coming after a definite period of time by measuring atmospheric pressure, etc. to report its result by various methods (voice, sound, or various displays). <P>SOLUTION: This timepiece with the functions of weather prediction and of alarm sounding time adjustment has the function of causing an alarm a little earlier than a set time point in case of rain causing commute to office or school to be time-taking by not only displaying weather information acquired from measurement data such as atmospheric pressure on a timepiece, but by changing an alarm sounding time point according to the acquired weather information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
