<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently generate a desired composite image by replacing a margin region to be generated in an simple image processing with a composite background image without securing a memory for generating and retaining specific image information corresponding to each of the margin regions generated in the arrangement composition of image information. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 24 performs image composition processing to embed image information to be inputted from a host computer 10 or host computers 11 and 12 in a designated region in the image information of a lower layer on an RAM according to arrangement attributes added to the image information to be inputted from the host computer 10 or the host computers 11 and 12, thereafter a margin region to be generated in the above image composition processing is replaced with an image adaptive to the image characteristics of the lower layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
