摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute drug development targeting at TRF2 by analyzing a complex structure between telomere protein TRF2-binding domain and telomere duplex DNA and their functions and enabling the screening of medicines that can adjust the binding capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The following (a) or (b) TRF2 DNA-binding domain mutant protein or their salts. (a) A protein that has the amino acid sequence of a wild type hTRF2 DNA-binding domain in which at least one of the following substitutions: from lysine to arginine to arginine at the 10 position; from alanine to serine at the 34 position; from alanine to serine at the 59 position; from arginine to lysine at the 59 position. (b) A protein that has higher binding capacity to the duplex DNA than a wild type hTRF2 DNA-binding domain having a specific amino acid sequence in which one or several amino acids other than at the positions of 10, 34, 47, and 59 are deleted, substituted or added in the (a) amino acid sequence. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
