PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet processor reducing work by a person in charge and efficiently processing a paper sheet, without causing take-in/out among processing units of one set that is input in an input part. SOLUTION: In this paper sheet processor, based on a card detection part having detected a partition card, or when a position detection part does not detect a processed medium for a prescribed time, after the card detection part has detected an identification card, when using the identification card, fetching operation of a take-in mechanism of the paper sheet processor is stopped.
