DISPLAY PANEL WITH LIGHTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel with lighting which simply and easily deals with demands for various lighting effects and has constitution advantageous to cost. SOLUTION: Printing paper made of normal paper is held in an airtight sate between a pair of transparent acrylic plates 2 and 3, and a light source 10 is provided so that projection light is made incident on both side end surfaces of the transparent acrylic plate 2 on a printing surface side of the printing paper 4. The transparent acrylic plate 2 operates as a light guide plate and the incident light L travels in the whole transparent acrylic plate 2 while irregularly reflected by a surface of the printing plate 4 as a reflecting plate and reflected by an internal surface of the transparent acrylic plate 2 to light up the whole printing surface.
