<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid polymer fuel battery capable of superbly maintaining a wet state inside a film without the use of a humidifier. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel battery comprises a fuel cell stack 30 consisting of cation exchange film battery unit cells 10 using cation exchange resin for electrolyte resin for a solid polymer electrolyte film 11 and catalyst layers 12, 13, anion exchange film battery unit cells 20 using anion exchange resin for electrolyte resin of a solid polymer electrolyte film 21 and catalyst layers 22, 23. Fuel gas is supplied from an anode electrode 25 side of the anion exchange film battery unit cells 20, and is made to pass the anode electrode 25 side of the anion exchange film battery unit cells 20 and an anode electrode 15 side of the cation exchange film battery unit cells 10, while oxidant gas is supplied from a cathode electrode 16 side of the cation exchange film battery unit cells 10, and is made to pass the cathode electrode 16 side of the cation exchange film battery unit cells 10 and a cathode electrode 26 side of the anion exchange film battery unit cells 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
