摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic encoder enhancing coercitivity and maintaining high reliability to demagnetization while keeping residual flux density at a constant level or above and a rolling bearing unit equipped with the magnetic encoder. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic encoder is composed by integrally joining a magnet section formed with plastic magnet material containing magnetic material powder and a binder with a resin component in an annular ring with a slinger consisting of magnetic material, and is magnetized multiple poles in a circumferential direction, wherein the magnetic material powder is strontium ferrite magnetic material powder for magnetic field orientation having intrinsic coercitivity ranging from 255 to 342 kA/m as powder and the intrinsic coercitivity of the plastic magnet material ranges from 255 to 286 kA/m. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
