<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can avoid multi-printing of copy guard pattern. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus detects whether the input image data is added with copy guard pattern; and when the result of the detection indicates that the input image data is added with the copy guard pattern, the apparatus removes the copy guard pattern and adds a new copy guard pattern to the image data, from which the previous copy guard pattern has been removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
