<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, capable of removing a discharge product such as a nitric acid compound adhered to an image carrier surface without enlargement and complication of the device. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises an image carrier 10 and an electrifier 20 for charging the image carrier surface, and performs image formation by executing electrostatic copying process while rotating the image carrier 10 and developing an electrostatic latent image formed on the image carrier surface onto a sheet. A heating means 70 for heating, when transferring to image forming operation from a device stopped or rested state, a portion of the image carrier surface opposed to the electrifier 20 in the state is disposed on the circumference of the image carrier 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
