PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain which has high fastening rivet press out force of a pin and is not easily disassembled even if creep and excessive tension load is applied, in which a caulking process can be done easily in a short period of time by a press machine used for a normal chain assembly. SOLUTION: In a roller chain connecting inner links L1 composed by press fitting both end parts of a pair of bushings 3 including rotatable rollers 4 into bushing press in holes of a pair of inner plate 2, and outer links L2 composed by press fitting both end parts of a pair of cylindrical pins 6 into pin press in holes of a pair of outer plates 5 by cylindrical pins 6 penetrating the bushing 3 and having both projection end parts of the cylindrical pins 6 caulked at an outer side of the outer plate 5, end surfaces of the both projection end part of the cylindrical pin 6 are caulked at eight sections opposing in a diameter direction.
