摘要 FIELD: measuring technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to measuring technology and can be used for measuring parametres, particularly rectilinear speed of a current-carrying conductor. The method of measuring speed of the current-carrying conductor on a path segment between two identical induction sensor is based on continuous measuring excitation signals 1, 2 of two mentioned sensors with a field of the moving conductor, evaluation of informative parametre G1 as a geometric mean value of these signals The speed v of the current-carrying conductor is determined as proportional to the mentioned informative parametre G1. During measuring the speed, in addition signals U1, U2 proportional to the magnetic induction of a filed in two path points specified so that a coordinate x0 the middle interval in-between matches with a coordinate of the middle interval between points of the mentioned induction sensors. It is combined with evaluation of the second informative parametre G2 as an geometrical mean value of these signals and speed v of the current-carrying conductor is determined as where - a constant factor; KB [In/tl] - sensitivity of sensors to magnetic induction; N, Ss-respectively, number of coils and the sectional area of a coil of each induction sensor; - a coefficient determined by results of preliminary physical experiment or computer modelling, thus v0 - found experimentally or by modelling results speed of an identical or modelled current-carrying conductor in co-ordinate x0. ^ EFFECT: higher measurement accuracy for speed of the current-carrying conductor. ^ 2 dwg
