Disclosed are a light guide plate and a preparation method therefor and a backlight module. The light guide plate comprises a light guide plate body (11) and lattice points (113), wherein the light guide plate body (11) is provided with a light emitting surface (112), a holding groove for holding a light source is formed on the surface, facing away from the light emitting surface (112), of the light guide plate body (11), the side surfaces and bottom surface of the holding groove form incident surfaces (111), the lattice points (113) are distributed inside the light guide plate body (11) along a plane parallel to the light emitting surface (112), and the greater the distribution density is for the lattice points further away from the incident surfaces (111). When the above mentioned light guide plate is used, light emitted by the light source is guided into the light guide plate via the side surfaces and bottom surface of the holding groove, and since the greater the distribution density is for the lattice points (113) further away from the incident surfaces (111), the uniformity of the light rays emitted from the light emitting surface (112) of the light guide plate body (11) can be guaranteed; and moreover, since the lattice points (113) are disposed inside the light guide plate body (11), friction between the lattice points (113) of the light guide plate and a reflector plate of the backlight module can be avoided, and the service life of the backlight module is further prolonged.
