A liquid crystal display device includes: a first substrate including a first light blocking region where a plurality of transistors are formed and a second light blocking region where a data line is extended in a vertical direction; a first color filter and a second color filter formed on the first substrate; a second substrate facing the first substrate and having a common electrode formed thereon; and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first and second substrates, wherein the first and second color filters are spaced apart from each other in an intersection region of the first and second light blocking regions and are overlapped with each other in the second light blocking region other than the intersection region to form a color filter overlapped part in the vertical direction.

1. A liquid crystal display device comprising:
a first substrate including a first light blocking region where a plurality of transistors are formed and a second light blocking region where a data line is extended in a vertical direction; a first color filter and a second color filter formed on the first substrate; a second substrate facing the first substrate and having a common electrode formed thereon; and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first and second substrates, wherein the first and second color filters are spaced apart from each other in an intersection region of the first and second light blocking regions and are overlapped with each other in the second light blocking region other than the intersection region to form a color filter overlapped part in the vertical direction.
