Provided are a feature transformation device and the like, the device enabling feature transformation with a high degree of precision. The feature transformation device is provided with: a reception means for receiving learning data and test data that each include a plurality of samples; an optimization means which includes a weight derivation means for deriving the weight to be assigned to each element included in the learning data and a feature transformation parameter derivation means for deriving a feature transformation parameter that transforms each sample included in the learning data or the test data, and which optimizes the weight and the feature transformation parameter on the basis of an objective function related to the weight and the feature transformation parameter; an objective function derivation means which includes a binding condition determination means for determining whether a weight satisfies a prescribed binding condition and a regularization means for regularizing the weight and/or the feature transformation parameter, and which derives an objective function value; and a transformation means for transforming an element included in the learning data and/or test data, on the basis of the feature transformation parameter. |
