A strut coupling structure is provided with: a first strut (1) having a first flange (12) extending outward from the outer perimeter surface of a pipe-shaped first strut body (11), and a pipe-shaped first engaging part (13) forming a first uneven section (131) on the outer perimeter surface extending to the tip side; a second strut (2) having a second flange (22) extending outward from the outer perimeter surface of a pipe-shaped second strut body (21), and a pipe-shaped second engaging part (23) forming a second uneven section (231) on the outer perimeter surface extending to the tip side; and a shelf plate (3) having a through-hole (31) into which the first engaging part (13) is inserted by press-fitting. The strut coupling structure is obtained by inserting the first engaging part (13) into the through-hole (31) in the shelf plate (3) by press-fitting, inserting the second engaging part (23) into the first engaging part (13) by press-fitting, and sandwiching the shelf plate (3) between the first flange (12) and the second flange (22). As a result, it is possible to obtain a strut coupling having no slippage, by using only a press-fitting engagement of pipes and without using pins or bolts. |
