摘要 This redox flow battery system comprises a pump for circulating and supplying an electrolytic solution to a battery cell, a pump control unit for controlling the flow rate of the pump, a state-of-charge measurement unit for measuring the state-of-charge of the electrolytic solution, and a terminal voltage measurement unit for measuring the terminal voltage of the battery cell. The pump control unit includes: a reference flow rate acquisition unit for acquiring a reference flow rate for the pump corresponding to the state-of-charge of the electrolytic solution; a terminal voltage determination unit for determining whether or not the terminal voltage of the battery cell has reached a lower limit or an upper limit of a predetermined voltage range; and a pump flow rate setting unit whereby the pump is set to the reference flow rate if the terminal voltage has not reached the upper or the lower limit of the predetermined voltage range, and whereby the pump is set to a flow rate that is the addition of a predetermined flow rate to the reference flow rate if the terminal voltage has reached the upper or the lower limit of the predetermined voltage range.
