摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high affinity adaptor molecules that bind to both of circulating antibodies and target molecules to redirect the specificity of the circulating antibodies to the target molecules, and methods for identifying the high affinity adaptor molecules.SOLUTION: The invention provides a high affinity adaptor molecule comprising a peptide targeting moiety that binds to a target molecule with high affinity or selectivity, a ligand moiety that specifically binds to a circulating antibody, and a linker moiety that bind the targeting moiety to the ligand moiety. The invention also provides a method for identifying high affinity adaptor molecules capable of redirecting the antibody specificity comprising the steps of: providing a randomized library encoding a population of candidate targeting peptides; selecting targeting peptides that bind to the target molecule with high affinity and/or selectivity from the display library; linking the targeting peptide to the ligand moiety through the linker moiety to form candidate adaptor molecules; and estimating the ability of the candidate adaptor molecules to redirect the specificity of circulating antibodies to the target molecule.SELECTED DRAWING: None
