The invention relates to a key module (100) for a keyboard key. The key module (100) has a module base (130), a module cover (150) that can be connected to the module base (130), and a key lifter (140) for connecting a key button (160) which is translucent at least in a symbol-bearing portion. The key module (100) is characterised in that the module base (130) has at least one opening (135) between a base portion of the key module (100) and the module cover (150). The key module (100) is also characterised in that the module cover (150) has a portion (355) which is translucent to light from a light source, more particularly a colour-changing light source (120) for backlighting the symbol-bearing portion of the key button (160), and which is aligned with the at least one opening (135) when the module cover (150) is connected to the module base (130). |
