SWITCHING METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR IN BROADBAND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A switching method in a broadband wireless communication system is provided to open a MBS data receiving pass by obtaining switching information and MBS data receiving information and performing switching to a MBS providing position. CONSTITUTION: A mixed BS(Base station) receives a DSA-REQ message from a terminal during a data communication through M zone(901). The mixed BS search a L zone Multicast Broadcast Service and L zone switching related information(903). If the MBS which desired by the terminal is provided in the L zone, the mixed base station transmits the DSA-RSP message to the terminal(907). The mixed base station receives an RNG-REQ message from the terminal through the L zone(909). The mixed base station opens a MBS connection path with the terminal(913).
