PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide body detergent compositions that have good foaming and foam quality even when using hard water, the compositions reducing a tight feeling after washing.SOLUTION: The invention provides a body detergent composition containing a component (a): 0.1-20 mass% of the surfactant of a formula (1), a component (b): 10-50 mass% of C8-22 fatty acid salts, a component (c): 0.1-40 mass% of acyl methyl taurate (aminoethylene sulfonic acid group), wherein the mass ratio of (a) and (b) is 0.01-0.8, and the mass ratio of (a) and (c) is 0.05-1.
