PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for synthesizing 1,1-disubstituted hydrazine compounds such as 1,1-disubstituted hydrazinobenzothiazole safely, at a low cost, and industrially advantageously.SOLUTION: The method for producing 1,1-disubstituted hydrazine compounds represented by a formula (II), comprising reacting a compound represented by a formula (I) with a compound represented by a formula, R-Hal, in the presence of 1.0 to 3.0 equivalents, based on the compound represented by the formula (I), of a base selected from the group consisting of alkali metal hydroxides, alkali earth metal hydroxides, and alkali metal alkoxides in a mixed solvent comprising an aprotic polar solvent and an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
