1. A turbine-pump system bowl assembly for moving a liquid through a well having a well casing with an inner wall surface comprising:
a hollow driveshaft mounted for rotation in the well casing configured to place the bowl assembly at a location in the well and to supply a working fluid from a ground surface to the location; an impeller subassembly comprising a plurality of axially abutting impeller members having impeller body portions attached to the hollow driveshaft and mounted for rotation in the well casing with the hollow driveshaft; a diffuser subassembly comprising a plurality of axially connected diffuser members fixedly mounted in the well casing and connected end to end around the impeller members to form a continuous axial passageway configured to provide a flow path for the liquid, each diffuser member having a diffuser body portion opposing an associated impeller body portion which rotates and contacts the liquid flowing in the continuous axial passageway; a plurality of impeller blades on the impeller body portions extending radially outwardly therefrom into the continuous axial passageway; and a plurality of vanes on the diffuser body portions projecting inwardly therefrom into the continuous axial passageway, the blades and the vanes configured to pump the liquid through the continuous axial passageway and through the well casing on the inner wall surface of the well casing to the ground surface with the well casing providing a primary conduit for transmitting the liquid to the ground surface.
