PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard engine which prevents the workability of attachment of an upper cover from being impaired without affecting the appearance.SOLUTION: An outboard engine includes: an engine cover 4 which forms an engine compartment 40 with an upper cover 7 and a lower cover 8 which are dividable in a vertical direction; a ventilation fan 21 which ventilates the engine compartment 40; and a fan cover 22 which covers the ventilation fan 21. The engine cover 4 is formed so that the upper cover 7 is detachably attached to the lower cover 8 and the lower cover 8 is fixed to an engine 41. The lower cover 8 has: an outer air introduction port for taking air into the engine compartment 40; and an exhaust port 82 for exhausting air in the engine compartment 40. The fan cover 22 has an air outflow port 22d for flowing out air sent from the ventilation fan 21, and the exhaust port 82 is connected with the air outflow port 22d.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
