摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: lithium composite compound particle powder having good high-temperature storage characteristics and excellent cycle characteristics, as an active material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery; and a secondary battery using the lithium composite compound particle powder.SOLUTION: In Li-Ni composite oxide powder for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, the BET specific surface area is 0.05-0.8 m/g; the atomic ratio (Ma/Ni) of a concentration of an amphoteric metal to a concentration of Ni on the outermost surface of particles is 2-6; and the concentration of the amphoteric metal on the outermost surface of the particles is higher than a concentration of the amphoteric metal at a position spaced by 50 nm from the outermost surface toward a center of the particles.SELECTED DRAWING: None
