PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device that can reduce the difference in average illuminance between adjacent light sources having a transmission function of visible light communication to suppress uncomfortable feeling.SOLUTION: A transfer device 3 includes a drive circuit 30 for supplying power to a light source, a switch 20 connected in series to the light source 10, and a controller 40 for controlling pulse modulation for visible light communication by turning on/off the switch in a first section and pausing the pulse modulation in a second section. The controller 40 controls a peak value which is a higher value of pulsed current supplied from the drive circuit 30 to the light source 10 so that the average current value in the first section is matched with the average current value in the second section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
