PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system capable of magnifying an observation object to a desired magnification ratio so that irradiation unevenness of illumination light does not appear in an endoscopic image, a processor device, and an operation method of the endoscope system.SOLUTION: An endoscope system 10 includes a light source 36 for generating illumination light, an imaging sensor 48 for imaging an observation object to which the illumination light is applied, a zoom lens 47 for magnifying the observation object by an optical zoom, an electronic zoom unit 66 for magnifying the observation object by an electronic zoom using an image signal acquired by imaging the observation object, and a zoom control unit 72 for changing a use ratio of the optical zoom and the electronic zoom according to any of the kind of the illumination light, the kind of an endoscope, and the kind of a distal end hood attached to the distal end of the endoscope.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
