PURPOSE: A wavelength division multiplexing optical transmitter/receiver minimizes the number of expensive optical devices, reduces an installation cost, and reduces an occupied area. CONSTITUTION: A wavelength division multiplexing optical transmitter/receiver includes at least one optical transmitter( for generating/transmitting an optical wave; at least one first transmitter for transmitting an optical wave transmitted from the optical transmitter; a multiplexing/demultiplexing part(214) for multiplexing the optical wave transmitted from the first transmitter, and demultiplexing the optical wave from the external part; at least one second transmitter for transmitting the demultiplexed optical signal from the multiplexing/demultiplexing; and at least one optical receiver(222,223,224) for receiving the optical signal from the second transmitter. Thereby, the wavelength division multiplexing optical transmitter/receiver minimizes the number of expensive optical devices, reduces an installation cost, and reduces an occupied area. |
