PURPOSE: An electromagnetic switch is provided to reduce a cost and an installing area by making a three-phase motor become a star connection or a delta connection. CONSTITUTION: In an electromagnetic switch, first to third power terminals(121a,121b,121c) are provided to which three-phase power lines(R,S,T) are respectively connected. First to third main driven terminals(122a,122b,122c) are provided to which terminals(u,v,w) at one side of a three-phase motor. First to third star-delta terminals(123a,123b,123c) are provided to which terminal(Z,X,Y) at the other side of the motor are connected. The first to third star-delta terminals(123a,123b,123c) are connected mutually according to whether an electromagnet is magnetized. The first to third main driven terminals(122a,122b,122c) and the first to third star-delta terminals(123a,123b,123c) are connected such that kindred terminals are isolated each other and heterogeneous terminals are connected each other.
