PURPOSE: A device for transmitting local area network(LAN) data through a telephone line is provided to deliver telephone signals through a low pass filter and deliver LAN data signals through a high pass filter, by using characteristics of the telephone signals and the LAN data signals, so that high-speed Internet service be provided through an existing telephone subscriber network. CONSTITUTION: A center module(200) combines a local area network(LAN) data signal and a telephone signal. A subscriber module(100) mutually separates the LAN data signal and the telephone signal. A first line(300) combines the telephone signal with one of a transmitting signal and a receiving signal of the LAN data through two lines, among four telephone lines connecting the center module and the subscriber module. A first direct current(DC) interrupter(120) interrupts DC power supplied through the first line. A first low pass filter(130) passes low-frequency components in the first line, to separate the telephone signal. A first high pass filter(110) passes high-frequency components, to separate the LAN data signal. A second DC interrupter(220) interrupts DC power led through the first line. A second low pass filter(230) passes low-frequency components in the first line, to combine the telephone signal. A second high pass filter(210) passes high-frequency components, to combine the LAN data signals.
