<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noises generated in a fuel cell system without giving an effect on an installation space of the fuel cell device and a power generation capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell device 1 includes: a fuel cell 6 for generating power by electrochemical reaction between a fuel gas having hydrogen as a principal component and air; an air supply unit 4 for supplying air to the fuel cell 6; and a filter 10 which is arranged between an air intake 11 and the air supply unit 4 and houses a filter 13 for removing unnecessary matters in the air in a filter housing part 12 having a larger passage cross-sectional area than a passage cross-sectional area of the air intake 11. A ratio of the passage cross-sectional area of the air intake 11 against the passage cross-sectional area of the filter housing part 12 is 0.1-0.6%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
