IN MOLD-FORMING MATERIAL AND FORMED ARTICLE OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a problem such that, although recently a so-called in mold formed article obtained by covering the surface of a propylene molded article with a polyurethane is developed vigorously and investigated as a beautiful article, the polypropylene resin is inferior in the close adhesion with the polyurethane and as a method for solving this problem, a method for applying the polyurethane resin on a formed article obtained by blending a copolymer of an ethylene-vinyl acetate is examined without obtaining a satisfactory result. SOLUTION: The in mold-forming material is provided by using the following (A) as a substrate and the following (B) as a surface skin. The (A) is a resin composition consisting of 100 pts. wt. polypropylene resin and 1-30 pt. wt. polyolefinpolyol. The (B) is a 2 pack type urethane coating material obtained by mixing (1) a polyesterpolyol containing 0.3-3 wt. % zirconium chelate and (2) an aliphatic polyisocyanate in a ratio of (1) to (2) in terms of NCO group/OH group of 1-1.5.
