<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an attribute value of a channel by using information not depending on a mounting form (model) of a GMPLS switch or MPLS router, and to control a structure of the channel of a communication network. <P>SOLUTION: A channel control system controls a communication network which establishes the channel by a transfer of a channel establishing control signal between data switching devices. This system comprises an information collector for collecting the channel establishing control signal, an information accumulator for accumulating the channel establishing control signal collected by the information collector, and an information searcher for searching the channel establishing control signal accumulated in the information accumulator.
