AUTHENTICITY IDENTIFYING BODY AND AUTHENTICITY IDENTIFIABLE BASE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authenticity identifying body capable of exhibiting the visibility of a hologram upon the lamination of a cholesteric liquid crystal layer on the hologram as well as an effect which is caused by cholesteric liquid crystal and changes color in accordance with viewing angle and a polarization effect similarly in either case.

SOLUTION: The authenticity identifying body 1 is constituted as follow; the cholesteric liquid crystal layer 3 is laminated on the upper surface of a transparent base material 2, a hologram forming layer 4 is laminated on the lower surface thereof and both layers of a reflective metal layer 5 and a colored layer 6 are laminated along fine ruggedness of the hologram forming layer 4 so as to take a pattern shape viewed from the upper surface. In addition, it is preferable that an adhesive layer 7 is laminated on the lower surface. Otherwise, such an authenticity identifying body 1 can be applied to other article and can make the same authenticity-identifiable.
