Connection element has revision plank which is provided with a tiltable lock plate (5) as connection element in its used condition at its lower side, which are swiveling in and out transverse to both longitudinal sides of plank, they protrude into pivoted state for placement of board in gap between two planks (2,3) maximum around intermediate space at these adjacent boards. The planks engage in swivel out condition with transverse projecting edge (7) on length of 5 to 10 mm or more. Independent claims are included for following: (1) Revision part for balcony and terrace covers; and (2) Method for tiltable fixing of the plank.
