FLUORESCENT LIGHT LIFE DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE OF ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent light life diagnostic device of an elevator capable of accurately detecting the life of a fluorescent light by detecting the flickering thereof in the form of images. SOLUTION: In an image processing apparatus for an elevator comprising: an imaging means for imaging the inside of the car of the elevator; an image dividing means for dividing the image photographed by the imaging means into four or more blocks; an image storage means for storing the divided images; and a luminance calculation means for calculating the luminance for each block of the image, this fluorescent light life diagnostic device 4 comprises an image luminance comparison means for comparing the luminance of the image every first predetermined time: a fluorescent light flickering detection means for determining that the fluorescent light 2 flickers when the varied amount of the luminance exceeds a predetermined value; and a fluorescent light life detection means for counting the number of flickers of the fluorescent light and determining that the life of the fluorescent light is terminated when the number of the flickers comes within a second predetermined time which is longer than the first predetermined time.
