A plasma display panel is provided to enhance the uniformity of white color by adjusting the optic transmissivity of a filter on a passivation film having different film densities based on areas of a front substrate. A plasma display panel includes rear and front substrates(10,20), barrier ribs(16), an address electrode(11), first and second electrodes(31,32), dielectrics(13,21), a passivation film(23), and a filter(50). The rear and front substrates are formed opposite to each other. The barrier ribs, which are disposed between the both substrates, define discharge cells. The address electrode is disposed in the discharge cells by extending in a first direction. The first and second electrodes are disposed in the discharge cells as pairs by extending in first and second directions, which are extended to cross with each other. The dielectrics cover the first and second electrodes on the front substrate. The passivation film having different film densities based on areas of the front substrate covers the dielectrics. The filter having different optic transmissivity according to the density of the passivation film is attached to the front substrate.
