PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide composition which can inhibit the formation of spherulites on spinning and results in the preparation of a polyamide fiber with reduced formation of fluff and excellent in thermal dimensional stability. SOLUTION: The polyamide composition mainly contains polyhexamethylene adipamide, has a crystallization temperature Tc and a melting point Tm which meet formula a: Tc(270)-Tc(300)≥15, formula b: Tc (300)≤188, and formula c: Tm≥260 [wherein Tc(T) is a crystallization temperature measured by melting the composition at a temperature of T°C and Tm is a melting point], and contains nylon 12.
