<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a karaoke device, a singing evaluation method, and a program capable of detecting and evaluating fall singing. <P>SOLUTION: In the karaoke device, when a pitch is not extracted as there is no sound for a predetermined period at a last part of a phrase of singing, a pitch Pitch(β) which is finally extracted by a pitch extracting section 101, and a pitch Pitch(α) before that by the number n of frames, can be recognized. When the difference of Pitch(α)-Pitch(β) is larger than a set value k, the pitch is significantly lower than the set value k within a period corresponding to the number n of the frames, and it is in a state of the fall singing.
