PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substructure of a vehicle capable of making a mount device into a structure hard to transmit vibration to a vehicle body and into a structure excellent in impact absorptivity in vehicle collision. SOLUTION: A recessed part is formed in the vehicle longitudinal direction on a sub-frame upper surface part, an exhaust pipe is arranged on the lower side in the vertical direction of a steering gear box in a state where a lower part enters the recessed part, the mount device is fastened on arch type reinforcing members respectively straddling over the exhaust pipe on the upper surface side of the sub-frame, the vehicle front side reinforcing member is formed of a material easy to break by impact force from the front of the vehicle in comparison with the vehicle rear side reinforcing member and strength of connecting parts to the sub-frame of both ends of the reinforcing members is made different from each other in the substructure of the vehicle arranging the sub-frame in the vehicle cross direction in a rear side space in the vehicle longitudinal direction of an engine loaded in the vehicle cross direction, arranging the steering gear box in the vehicle cross direction and the exhaust pipe in the vehicle longitudinal direction above the sub-frame and arranging the mount device above the steering gear box.
