PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the tightness by an internal lid when the screwing force of an external lid acts by making the internal lid sink uniformly in the entire periphery. SOLUTION: The airtight container is furnished with a container body 11, an internal lid 13 openably screwed onto the container body 11 through hinges 19, an external lid 14 containing the internal lid 13 and fitted onto the outside periphery of the container body 11. The internal lid 13 is pressed in the tightly closing direction by adding the screwing force of the external lid 14 to the internal lid 13. An extending piece 18 is extended along the direction of a bus line of the container body 11 from the periphery of the internal lid 13, the extending piece 18 is provided with hinges 19, the tip of the extending piece 18 is engaged with the container body 11 relatively movably in the tightly closing direction of the internal lid 13 by the action of the screwing force of the external lid 14. |
